For those about to Punk

Post-punk in the 2000’s LBelow are four individuals who collectively work together on a website dedicated to defining the best post-punk bands of all time. They are all passionate about defining music from the early 2000’s and believe that post-punk is music that speaks to the soul. Their goal is to spread love, unity and the power of expression to the world. They are committed to achieving their goals through the work on their website and also in the punk community.

Nash "Red Devil" Baily

He is the head writer for the website. Punk music is his life and he often says, "I sold my soul to punk". Nash is truly a free spirit who is often misunderstood. And unfortunately sometimes finds himself on the wrong side of the law. He uses punk music to express himself and also entertain. He also uses the online name PFL (Punk For Life) but his stage name is Red Devil. As a child he was often bullied, so Nash often likes to say, "Punk saved me from the world and it continues to save me from the world and myself".

Mary"Keys" Chapman

She is the contributing writer to the website. Mary considers herself to be one of the most knowledgeable people about punk and post-punk music around in the world with a passionate and self-proclaimed tone. Now that’s punk! The rest of our team nicknamed her ‘Keys’ because according to them she essentially holds the keys to the punk music fountain of information. She is also an introvert who prefers hanging around people with the same interests as her. In fact, she doesn't have any close friends outside her community of punk lovers.

Maddison "Kitty" Klarke

She’s the special report writer for the website. Maddy is the kind of person who loves interacting with people. She is confident, ambitious and an all around people person. Yet she also believes that punk music is her true calling, hence she always strives to do her best as the special report writer for the website. Her mantra is, "Do your best and listen to punk". The rest of the team call her Kitty because she is the youngest of the group.

Alex "Ghost" Fletcher

He is the associate editor for the website. While Alex is considered to be a veteran amongst the punk community. Often, he likes to talk about his experiences touring all over the world. According to him, they were the best moments of his life. His stage name was Ghost and he always tells people to refer to him as Ghost. He is also pretty wild and unlike most people his age, he continues to listen and sing out loud to extremely loud music. His favorite quote is, "I love life and life loves me". He is also passionate about mentoring young musicians and considers it as his best achievement.

If you ever visit their website, you will find the quote, "To love punk is to be free". This team of people strongly believe in the freedom that punk avails them and they hope to spread that positive energy to the rest of the world. Let us know what you think:
